At Mathis Salon & Spa, our goal is to provide a luxury, professional experience for every guest. The following policies protect your appointment time, our team’s expertise, and the quality of services we provide.

By booking an appointment, purchasing products, or enrolling in memberships or subscriptions, you agree to the policies outlined below.

             At Mathis Salon & Spa, Mathis Aesthetics and Pink Skinny, our policies are designed to protect your appointment time, our team's

             expertise, and ensure every guest receives the highest level of service.

 

             By booking an appointment, purchasing products, enrolling in memberships, or participating in loyalty or referral programs, you               agree to the policies outlined below.

 

             For your convenience, our policies are organized by category. Please review the section that applies to your services, purchases, or

             memberships.

           These policies apply to all hair, spa, and in-salon services including appointments, booking fees, cancellations, service guarantees,               and guest conduct.

We strive to ensure every guest leaves loving their results.

 

If you are not completely satisfied, please notify us:

      • Hair services: within 24 hours
      • Skin services: within 5 days

 

All services are non-refundable, however adjustments may be provided if the concern is determined to be the result of a service provider error.

 

Corrective services must be:

     • requested within the timeframe listed above
     • validated by management
     • performed by the original provider whenever possible

 

Changes of mind after the service is completed do not qualify for a redo.

Some services such as box color corrections or dramatic color changes may require multiple sessions to achieve the desired result.

 

For injectable treatments, adjustments will only be considered if the recommended treatment plan from the initial consultation was followed.

Mathis Salon & Spa reserves the right to refuse service to anyone demonstrating inappropriate, unsafe, or disruptive behavior toward our team or other guests.

🩷Appointments & Scheduling

Mathis Salon & Spa operates by appointment only. Walk-ins are not accepted.

 

A valid credit card on file and a non-refundable booking fee are required to reserve all appointments. Booking fees are applied toward your service total at your appointment when all policies are followed.

 

Appointments must be booked for the correct service type and time block. Reserving a longer service block but requesting a shorter service upon arrival may result in a $100 Service Block Fee.

Before scheduling your appointment, please review the following:

 

By booking an appointment with Mathis Salon & Spa, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

       

      • A valid credit card on file and non-refundable booking fee are required to secure all appointments.
      • 24-hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
      • Late cancellations will incur a 50% service fee, and no-show appointments will be charged 100% of the scheduled service cost.
      • Guests arriving more than 15 minutes late may be considered a no-show.
      • All guests must arrive alone unless they are receiving services in accordance with our guest policy.

 

By proceeding with your appointment booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to all Mathis Salon & Spa policies.

🩷Service Block & Service Change Policy

Many color services require a 2–3 hour reserved service block.

 

If a guest books a color service but requests only a haircut or shorter service upon arrival, a $100 Service Block Fee may apply.

 

Switching services at the time of your appointment may also incur a Service Change Fee.

🩷 Service Accuracy & Appointment Booking Policy

To ensure we reserve the correct amount of time for your service, guests are responsible for booking the correct service type and time block when scheduling an appointment.

 

Many services at Mathis Salon & Spa — especially color services, blonding services, extensions, and corrective work — require extended appointment times and detailed preparation.

 

Booking an incorrect service may result in one of the following:

      • The appointment being rescheduled to allow adequate time
      • Adjustment of the service and pricing based on time required
      • A Service Block Fee if a large service block was reserved but not used

 

For example, booking a 3-hour color appointment but requesting only a haircut upon arrival leaves a large gap in the stylist’s schedule that cannot be filled.

 

To protect our stylists’ time and ensure fairness to other guests waiting for appointments, a $100 Service Block Fee may apply in these situations.

 

If you are unsure which service to book, we are always happy to help. Please contact the salon prior to scheduling so our team can guide you to the correct appointment.

 

🩷 When in doubt, please book a consultation so we can properly plan your service.

🩷 Arrival Guidelines

Please arrive alone and on time for your scheduled appointment.

If additional guests or children arrive with you, our team may ask them to wait outside the salon during your appointment.

🩷 Late Arrivals

If your appointment must be rescheduled due to late arrival, a $45 Rescheduling Fee will apply and must be paid before a new appointment can be scheduled.

In certain cases, late arrivals may be considered a missed appointment (no-show).

Mathis Salon & Spa is committed to providing every guest with a calm, luxury salon experience. This policy helps ensure the comfort, safety, and relaxation of all clients while allowing our team to focus fully on delivering exceptional results.

 

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

 

🩷Failure to follow this policy may result in rescheduling of the appointment and forfeiture of the booking fee.

🩷 Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Your appointment time at Mathis Salon & Spa is reserved exclusively for you and requires preparation, planning, and dedicated time from your service provider.

 

Because many of our services require extended appointment blocks, last-minute cancellations leave gaps in our schedule that cannot always be filled.

 

We kindly ask that you respect our team’s time by providing proper notice if your schedule changes.

🩷 Late Cancellations

Appointments canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time will incur:

      • 50% of the scheduled service cost
      • forfeiture of the booking fee

🩷 Repeated Cancellations

Guests who cancel three consecutive appointments may lose booking privileges, loyalty rewards, and the ability to schedule future appointments online.

This policy ensures fairness to both our team and other guests seeking appointments.

🩷 By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to the cancellation and booking policies outlined above.

🩷 24 Hour Notice Required

Guests must provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Changes made with proper notice allow us the opportunity to offer that time to another guest.

🩷 No-Show Appointments

Guests who do not arrive for their scheduled appointment without notice will be considered a no-show.

No-show appointments will incur:

      • 100% of the scheduled service cost
      • forfeiture of the booking fee

Future appointments may require full prepayment before scheduling.

🩷Prime Time Appointment Policy

To maintain a healthy work-life balance for our team while still offering flexible scheduling for our guests, Mathis Salon & Spa offers limited Prime Time appointment availability.

Prime Time appointments are considered premium scheduling times and may include an additional service fee.

 

These appointment times are in very high demand and are reserved for guests who specifically request extended hours or peak scheduling availability.

🩷   What Are Prime Time Appointments?

Prime Time appointments include any appointments scheduled during the following times:

      • Appointments scheduled after 6:00 PM
      • All Saturday appointments

      • Same-day or emergency appointments requested outside of normal availability

🩷   Prime Time Service Fees

The following Prime Time fees apply:

      • Evening Appointments (after 6:00 PM) → $35 Prime Time Fee
      • Saturday Appointments → $50 Prime Time Fee
      • Emergency or Same-Day Appointments → $75 Prime Time Fee

 

Prime Time fees compensate our service providers for extended hours and limited availability scheduling.

These fees will always be communicated at the time of booking.

🩷  Prime Time Booking Requirements

Prime Time appointments still require:

       • a valid credit card on file
       • Prime Time Fee must be paid at time of booking. 
       • adherence to all cancellation and rescheduling policies

 

Due to the limited availability of these premium time slots, Prime Time fees may be forfeited if the appointment is canceled late or missed.

🩷 Why This Policy Exists

Prime Time appointments require our team to remain available outside normal scheduling hours and often prevent us from filling additional appointments.

This policy allows us to:

       • protect our team's time and well-being
       • continue offering evening and weekend availability
       • ensure fairness for guests who need premium scheduling options

🩷Consultation Fees

Some services require an in-person consultation before scheduling.

Consultation fees:

       • are non-refundable
       • are applied toward your service if you proceed with booking
       • compensate the provider for their time and expertise if you choose not to move forward

🩷New Guest Scheduling Policy

Mathis Salon & Spa specializes in custom color, blonding transformations, keratin treatments, extensions, and advanced cosmetic beauty services.

To ensure every new guest receives the best possible experience, first-time appointments must be scheduled for a service that allows time for consultation, customization, and planning.

🩷 First Visit Requirements

New guests are required to book one of the following services for their first visit:

• Hair color services
• Blonding or highlight services
• Keratin treatments
• Extension consultations or installations
• Medspa or aesthetic services
• Other specialty services requiring consultation

These services allow our team the time needed to properly evaluate your hair, discuss your goals, and create a customized service plan.

If you are unsure which service to book, we recommend scheduling a consultation appointment.

 

Consultations allow us to:

       • evaluate your hair goals
       • discuss service options
       • provide accurate pricing and timing
       • create a customized service plan

🩷  Haircut-Only Appointments

At this time, haircut-only appointments are reserved for established guests of Mathis Salon & Spa.

This allows our team to prioritize the advanced services and transformations our salon is known for.

 

After your first visit, haircut and maintenance appointments may be scheduled as needed.

Standalone services such as haircuts or individual services may be scheduled after your initial appointment has been completed.

🩷 Saturday Appointment Policy

Saturday appointments at Mathis Salon & Spa are considered Prime Time appointments due to extremely high demand and limited availability.

To ensure these highly requested appointments remain available for guests who truly need them, the following Saturday booking policies are strictly enforced.

🩷Prime Time Appointment Notice

All Saturday appointments fall under our Prime Time Appointment Policy and may include an additional Prime Time service fee.

These premium scheduling times allow guests who require weekend availability to access limited appointment openings.

🩷Saturday Booking Requirements

To secure a Saturday appointment, the following requirements apply:

      • A valid credit card must be kept on file
      • A booking fee may be required depending on service type
      • All guests must follow our cancellation and rescheduling policies

Because Saturday appointments are extremely limited, we reserve these openings for guests who honor their scheduled appointment times.

🩷Missed or Late-Canceled Saturday Appointments

If a Saturday appointment is missed, canceled late, or rescheduled outside of policy, the appointment cannot be rebooked on another Saturday.

Future appointments must be scheduled during weekday availability (Monday–Friday) until appointment reliability is re-established.

Recommended weekday booking windows include:

       • Tuesday–Friday midday appointments (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM)
       • Other weekday openings as available

🩷Why This Policy Exists

Saturday appointments are some of the most requested and limited appointments of the week.

This policy helps ensure:

       • fairness to guests waiting for weekend availability
       • protection of our team’s limited weekend schedule
       • availability for guests who truly require Saturday appointments

🩷 Saturday appointments are reserved for guests receiving multi-service appointments such as color, blonding, keratin, extension services and aesthetic cosmetic treatments.

🩷Guest & Child Policy

To maintain a relaxing, professional environment for all guests, only clients receiving services are permitted inside Mathis Salon & Spa during appointments.

We kindly ask that you arrive to your appointment alone unless a support person is medically necessary.

🩷Additional Guests

To preserve the peaceful and luxury atmosphere of the salon:

• Friends
• Partners
• Spouses
• Family members
• Children

are not permitted to wait inside the salon during appointments unless they are scheduled for services.

Our service spaces are designed specifically for the guest receiving the service and additional visitors may disrupt the experience for other guests.

🩷 Children & Guest Safety

While we love children, our salon environment contains hot tools, chemicals, sharp implements, and busy workstations, which can pose serious safety risks.

For this reason, children are not permitted in the salon unless they are the guest receiving the service.

This policy exists to protect the safety of children, our team, and other guests.

🩷 Special Circumstances

Guests with disabilities or special needs who require assistance may be accompanied by one caregiver, guardian, or support person.

We are always happy to accommodate accessibility needs when notified in advance.

🩷 Payment Methods

Accepted forms of payment include:

• Visa
• Mastercard
• Discover
• Debit Cards
• HSA / FSA (for aesthetic services only)
• Cash
• CareCredit (for aesthetic services only)
• Cherry

We do not accept checks, prepaid Visa/Mastercard gift cards or American Express.

Please note:

       • A 3.78% convenience fee applies to all credit card transactions.
       • An additional 4% fee applies to CareCredit, Cherry, Affirm, Pay Later and Apple payments.

 

Prices and services are subject to change without notice.

🩷 Gift Cards, Vouchers, Giveaways & Promotional Prize Policies

Details regarding gift card use, promotional vouchers, expiration terms, and redemption guidelines at Mathis Salon & Spa.

🩷 Purchased Gift Cards

Purchased gift cards:

• never expire
• are non-refundable
• may be used toward eligible services or purchases at Mathis Salon & Spa
• are not redeemable for cash
• cannot be used toward gratuity
• copies, screenshots, or altered gift cards will not be accepted

Gift cards must be presented at the time of service.

🩷 Promotional Vouchers & Bonus Cards

Promotional vouchers, bonus cards, giveaway certificates, and special promotional offers are complimentary gifts from Mathis Salon & Spa and are not considered purchased gift cards.

 

These promotional vouchers:

• are valid for 90 days unless otherwise stated
• are valid for hair services only
• are not valid for MedSpa services or retail purchases
cannot be combined with other promotions, discounts, or vouchers
cannot be used toward gratuity
• have no cash value
• must be presented at the time of service

Promotional vouchers may not be replaced if lost, expired, or unused.

🩷 Important Redemption Information

Only one voucher or promotional certificate may be used per appointment unless otherwise specified.

Mathis Salon & Spa reserves the right to modify or discontinue promotional offers at any time.

🩷 Service Giveaway & Promotional Prize Policy

From time to time, Mathis Salon & Spa offers service giveaways, promotional prizes, and complimentary service certificates as part of special promotions, events, and marketing campaigns.

These prizes are designed to thank our community and introduce new guests to the Mathis Salon & Spa experience.

🩷 Giveaway & Prize Terms

Service giveaways, promotional prizes, and complimentary service certificates:

      • have no cash value
      • cannot be exchanged for cash or credit
      • cannot be transferred or sold
      • must be redeemed by the original winner unless otherwise approved
      • cannot be applied toward gratuity
      • cannot be combined with other promotions or discounts

🩷 Redemption Guidelines

To redeem a giveaway or promotional service prize:

• an appointment must be scheduled in advance
• the certificate must be presented at the time of service
• all booking and cancellation policies still apply

🩷 Expiration

All promotional service prizes and giveaway certificates expire 90 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated.

Expired prizes cannot be reissued or extended.

🩷 Missed Appointments

If a guest schedules a service using a giveaway or promotional prize and fails to show for the appointment or cancels outside of policy, the prize will be considered redeemed and will no longer be valid.

🩷Service Limitations

Giveaway prizes and promotional certificates may be limited to specific services, providers, or appointment availability as determined by Mathis Salon & Spa.

Some promotions may exclude:

      • MedSpa services
      • retail products
      • specialty services

unless otherwise specified.

Retail products may be exchanged within 24 hours of purchase with management approval if unused and unopened.

No refunds will be issued for retail purchases.

Due to health and safety regulations, Pink Skinny wellness products and injectable kits cannot be returned or refunded once processed or shipped.

Guests who refer a new client to Mathis Salon & Spa may receive referral rewards once the new guest has completed their first service appointment.

🩷Referral Program Guidelines

• The referred guest must be a new client who has never visited Mathis Salon & Spa before
• The referred guest must complete a paid service appointment for the referral to qualify
• Referral rewards will be applied to the referring guest’s account after the appointment is completed
• Referral rewards have no cash value and cannot be transferred

Referral rewards must be used toward future services.

🩷Loyalty & Referral Programs

At Mathis Salon & Spa, we love rewarding our loyal guests and appreciate every referral you send our way. Our Loyalty and Referral Programs are designed to thank you for supporting our salon and helping us grow. 

Loyalty and referral rewards are intended to be a thank-you for our valued guests and may not be redeemed for cash.

Mathis Salon & Spa reserves the right to modify, adjust, or discontinue any loyalty or referral program at any time.

🩷Hair Extensions

All extension services require a consultation before scheduling.

Extension services must be prepaid in full before installation appointments are reserved.

🩷Personal Belongings

Mathis Salon & Spa is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.

Items left behind at the end of the day may be discarded.

🩷Health & Safety (Head Lice)

Services cannot be performed on guests with active head lice.

Services may resume 7 Days after treatment and free from lice.

🩷Salon Environment Policy

To maintain a relaxing and professional environment:

      • Only scheduled guests are permitted in the salon
      • Please attend your appointment alone
      • Children are not permitted unless receiving services

 

Our salon environment includes hot tools, chemicals, and sharp implements that may pose safety risks.

🩷 WiFi & Device Use

Complimentary WiFi is available.

 

To maintain a peaceful salon environment:

      • phones must be on silent
      • headphones must be used for audio
      • FaceTime or speakerphone calls are not permitted

🩷 Privacy & Communication

By providing your phone number or email, you consent to receive:

      • appointment reminders
      • service communications
      • occasional marketing messages (you may opt out anytime)

🩷 Liability & Results Disclaimer

Results from services and products may vary depending on individual circumstances.

Guests are responsible for following all pre-care, aftercare, and product usage instructions.

Once an order has been shipped and tracking has been issued, Pink Skinny is not responsible for carrier delays, lost packages, or delivery issues.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at checkout.
