Salon Policies

Our Service Guarantee 

We make every attempt to ensure your satisfaction with your experience at Salon Mathis. In the event you are not completely satisfied, please let us know at time of service or within 24 hours of completed service. 


Forms of Payment

We reserve the right to change prices and services at any time without notification. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Debit Cards, American Express and Cash Payments. We do not accept Checks, Visa or Master Card Gift Cards. 


Gift Certificate Policy

Gift Voucher's are valid for up 90 days unless otherwise stated from the date of purchase and must be presented at time of service.

* Copies of gift certificates are not acceptable.

* Please call Salon Mathis concerning lost gift certificates.

* All gift certificates are non-refundable. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash.

* Gift certificates are valid at Salon Mathis only for all products and services available.

* Gratuity can not be given with gift voucher's. 



We want you to love your experience with us! guarantee all of our services when you purchase the recommended regime to maintain your look at home. If you are unsatisfied for any reason, please let us know within 24 hours of your visit so we can make any adjustments necessary.

All services are non-refundable but we will be more than happy to schedule a corrective service free of charge in the event you are unhappy as we guarantee all of our services when you purchase the recommended regime to maintain your look at home. 

The service must be a mistake from the service provider... not something you might have changed your mind (after the service has been performed).  In case of a disagreement, a redo must be validated by management. You have 24 hours to contact the Salon to receive a complimentary service to adjust any dissatisfaction.  Corrective services will not be allowed 5 days past initial service date. It is important you contact the Salon as soon as you are unhappy so we can schedule you As Soon As Possible for a corrective service. 

****Please keep in mind, using box color or going from Darker to Lighter tones may result in more than one service to achieve your desired result. 


Right to Refuse

Salon Mathis reserves the right to refuse service to anyone demonstrating inappropriate behavior to any member of our team or other guests.


Walk In’s

Salon Mathis is "By Appointment Only'. No Walk-In Appointments will be accepted. 


Personal Items

Salon Mathis is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged personal items. We provide capes for guests to wear during color services to protect clothing. We do not have a lost and found and all items found at end of day will be disposed of. 

Child Policy

We understand how challenging it can be to find time to spend on yourself. We also know that your “me time” may not always align with your salon appointments. We love children and hope you understand that with recent events in the world (COVID-19 Pandemic) We can no longer allow children to accompany you to your appointment. We also do not want to compromise the relaxation and salon experience for our guests. Salon Mathis stylists and staff are dedicated to providing each of our guests with the highest level of service possible. While this policy helps ensure that all guests enjoy a relaxing salon experience, it was created with your child’s safety in mind. Our salon is not child proof. Sharp implements, hot styling tools, chemicals and a busy, congested area make for a potentially dangerous environment for young children. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding with our no child policy.

Mandatory Online Forms and Your Arrival

All Documents and Forms must be completed online 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. If forms should not be completed 48 hours before your scheduled appointment, our system will auto-send one last time. If not completed within time frame, system will automatically cancel your appointment. Any deals, discounts, or promotions you had will automatically be canceled and can not be used. 

Late Arrival Policy

If you think you are going to be late for your scheduled appointment, please call the salon and let us know. If you are later than 15 minutes into your start time, your appointment will need to be rescheduled and a Reschedule Fee will be applied to your next service. Cancellation Policy 

Your appointments are very important to us! It is reserved especially for you. We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 48 hours notice for cancellations and rescheduling.


Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and guests on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. Our appointments are confirmed more than 48 hours in advance because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago.  Since the services are reserved for you personally, a reschedule fee, a late cancellation fee and/or no show fee will apply.


The cancellation policy allows us the time to inform our standby guests of any availability, as well as keeping our team members schedules filled, thus better serving everyone. Salon Mathis policies are presented and provided in the best quality and tradition of excellent servicing for our established and future clientele. 


*Note: Fee's do not apply to next service. All Saturday appointments canceled or No Show will not be allowed to reschedule on a Saturday. These appointments will need to be rescheduled Monday-Friday during the day.  

Complaint Policy

Customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us, however, if you were not fully satisfied with a service you received from our commission stylists please let us know before you leave salon, as all sales are final. Service prices are nonrefundable. Please see our Service Guarantee above.


Product Refunds

Unused/unopened retail products may be credited within 24 hours of purchase pending management approval. Products can be exchanged for equal value but will not refund. No cash/credit refund. 


Head Lice

It is against Salon Mathis Policy and Texas Department of Licensing to perform services on guests with head lice. If a guest has been diagnosed with head lice while receiving a service in the salon we would not be able to complete the service the same day. We would be able to complete the service within 72 hours once the head lice treatment has been completed.
