What started as a tiny suite with big dreams grew into one of Conroe’s most-loved luxury beauty destinations — and now, we’ve come full circle. After eight incredible years in our storefront, Mathis Salon & Spa has returned to where it all began — the suite life — but stronger, smarter, and more intentional than ever.

Today, we’ve expanded into four private luxury suites, designed to give every guest an elevated, one-on-one experience that’s more personalized, peaceful, and pampering than ever before. This move isn’t a step back — it’s a strategic shift toward more connection, creativity, and freedom to serve our guests and our team at the highest level.

I’ve been behind the chair for nearly 19 years, with over 100 awards and 122 certifications along the way — but what truly matters most are the transformations, relationships, and confidence I’ve helped build. Since opening our first storefront in 2017, I’ve never traded my stylist chair (blondes will always be my passion 💕), but I’ve also embraced leadership as a mentor, educator, and business coach. For over 15 years, I’ve trained and inspired stylists to build brands, careers, and lives they love — and that’s a legacy I’ll never stop growing.

Education has always been my heartbeat — pushing boundaries, raising standards, and showing women what’s possible when passion meets purpose. And at the center of it all? Family. My daughter Alexis now works beside me as a stylist, carrying on the Mathis legacy with her own beautiful energy and talent. My youngest, Payton, is an All-Star cheerleader and future cosmetic aesthetician (and yes, I’m that proud cheer mom 🙌).

The truth is, the suite life has allowed us to reconnect with what made this dream so special in the first place — authentic relationships, extraordinary experiences, and a genuine love for making people feel beautiful inside and out.
